One year later.

At the end of 2023 I decided to do art for a year and see if I could make any improvement.

I did a few doodles in the past but struck gold with the creation of Jettella an OC idea ive had since highschool (2016). While 2024 was a bad year for me IRL, I did make a noticeable improvement as I kept drawing and drawing spending countless nights scrapping WIPs.

I pushed my limits, looked for guides and took criticism in the effort to become better. By June/July I was able to start taking commissions with my favorite of the bunch being of Summer Storm. While I never expect to become well known or even noticed for my efforts I was happy drawing for myself and showing my circle of friends.

So now its January of 2025. Its a new year and roughly a year since my last update. I want to become stronger as a person, learn how to improve my art and I have a few goals i am dying to make.

I really hope people take a liking to Jettella tho. She is my favorite OC so far and I have big plans for her. In the meantime I will keep doing what I do best and I thank you all for supporting me. My Youtube channel is starting to get noticed, Many people are supporting my dream of becoming a full time editor on Kofi and I truly value all the nice words people have said to me over the years.

For context I used to be an artist in school but my depression and personal life was so bad what used to make me happy turned into my greatest fear and I stopped drawing for 8 years. I hated myself so much.

I refuse to let my creative vision die and I hope to prove to everyone I am worth it.

Decided to not let my fears get the best of me when it comes to how bad my artwork is and vowed Id be making some big changes in 2024. So for the foreseeable future expect some new art and animations every day. If I feel comfortable using Newgrounds then who knows maybe ill stick around. Twitter is quite annoying and I hope to find my people here.

Considering how much Newgrounds has shaped my childhood i owe this site a lot in terms of memories and enjoyment. Way back in 2006 i remember using NG as a kid and being blown away by what people could make and do, while im not that creative, making videos online has brought me joy and i plan to start uploading to NG as i get reacquainted with the site. Sometime after 2008 i lost my original NG acct (I was a dumb kid who never remembered passwords) and partially due to FNF (I'm more of a fancy pants guy) i was reminded how great this place was. Now as an adult i hope to contribute here and relive some old memories!
